Soul nodded and walked out of camp, assuming that Coalstar was following her. After walking for a bit, she noticed a lizard sitting on a small rock. She slid into the shadows. Soul started to creep towards the lizard, but she sensed another cat's smell, and it wasn't Coalstar. She peered around to find that a senior warrior was stalking this lizard. Soul walked on carefully, not to disturb to prey.

Soul nodded, trying to look strong enough. This wasn't too bad, she thought. "Alright." Soul answered. "Should I start now?"

Soul's trial nearly over, and she was getting exhausted. She was doing fine in hunting, but fighting wasn't her strong suit. Even after awhile, it seemed that the eyes of the BoulderClan cats seemed to follow her, suspiciously watching her every move. Awkwardpaw sometimes encouraged her a bit, and Soul nearly dropped out a few times. Now that she was near the end, though, she was determined to join the Clan. She saw a familiar cat up ahead. She walked up to them.

"So, what's my next trial?" she asked. She hoped the cat wasn't in the middle of anything. She didn't want to be rude when trying to join a tough Clan.


OOC: Trying to get this up again. Anyone can be the cat, I didn't want to limit it by saying a name.

Soul smiled. At least there was one welcome cat. She snapped back to he present, and nodded. "One moon," she repeated. Not too bad, but still, she couldn't let her guard down. She responded the enthusiastic young cat's call. "I'll try my best!"

Soul sighed with relief at the leader's response. "Well, do you know how I got these scars?" she asked, before realizing that no, they probably didn't. "I got them in a rat fight near that barn. I assume there's a Clan there do to the overwhelming similar smell everywhere. Sure, there's lots of food, but it's too easy. I want a challenge. And that ravine that also had an overall same smell everywhere, but the way in just looked hard, and it looked easy to fall off. I'm not the most sure-footed." Soul thought for a moment, then nodded, satisfied with her answer.


OOC: OMG I just realized Soul's first sentence was a total Joker from Batman moment! Ah!

Soul got a bit worried with the sudden hostility. "Look," she mewed, changing her tone. "I think we got off to a bad start. I got a little angry when you woke me up, and I'm sorry." Soul had to think, and fast. But, for some reason, her curiosity got the best of her. Again. "Let me join BoulderClan," she mewed quietly.

Soul turned her attention to the other cat, who looked  dismayed. "Oh, I'm sorry, did I offend you?" she asked. "I forgot how pampered you Clan cats were, with you're shelter, food, and companionship." I'm on a roll! Soul thought, smirking at herself.

Soul narrowed her eyes. This "leader" seemed pretty hostile towards the young loner. "Well, 'leader of BoulderClan', can't a cat walk along if she wants?" Soul asked, taking all her courage. She got back into her taunting mood, and was ready for any reply. She started to heat up in the sun, not noticing the hot daylight bearing down on her.

Soul woke up, startled. "Wha..." she mewed. The young loner jumped up at seeing two cats, both with similar smells. Clan cats... She thought. She turned to the smaller cat. Soul thought that one had asked something about a name. "I'm Soul," she answered, her feathery tail waving behind her, "And you are?"

Soul walked around the large rocks, and decided to climb up. According to the smell she was near a Clan again. Remember what happened at the last Clan! she thought to herself. At a farm, a couple rats attacked her, leaving her with scars. She laid down on the boulder, which was getting hot as the sun rose. I've been travelling for days. . . Soul started to doze off. The fact that a Clan cat might find her never even crossed the young she-cat's mind.

Small silver-gray tabby, black ears, lighter tail tip. Scar on muzzle and front left paw from a rat fight. Light gray eyes.

Devious. Likes to tease, but she can also be incredibly loyal. Soul is fun-loving. Cautious around Clan cats, her curiousity is the end of her.

Age of an apprentice, good hunter, sees well in dark.
