"Ella,"  she spoke, voice quiet. She peered at the paper briskly, wanting to enter the number in her phone before lunch was over.  Bella was a bit interesting, but weren't they all? "You're a ninth grader, like me, right?" The girl asked finally, unsure what to say.

Ella nodded to Kathrin, agreeing. She opened her mouth to reply to Bella, but when Florencio walked over she straightened and paused, shooting a look his way. The ninth grader half-smiled, attempting to look 'natural.' "Hi." She nodded to him, broadening her smile. The girl peeked up at the clock again, sighing. Soon enough, she would be going to a new class.

Her face turned to the side to face Bella, "Oh, well hi!" Ella said quickly, returning the smile. These are all the powered students. She thought in realization. They were all one group, somewhat of a clique. "What's your power?" The young ninth grader then asked Bella directly, picking at her nails and then looking back up at the newcomer. Ella tapped her boot on the floor, seeming to examine Bella with her sharp, sea-blue eyes.

Ella couldn't help but laugh slightly, "Some people just are the same with everything." She sighed lightly. The girl raked her fingers through her hair, trying to act as if nothing happened. "Sorry about that...outburst. I think my power also comes with a short temper." Ella shot a glance and Kathrin, then looked back to the siblings. "If either of you don't mind about lending me one of them..." The ninth grader murmured gently. "How do you control your powers, Mason?" The girl then asked, eyes softer.

Ella took the rose, "That's awesome." She tucked the rose behind her ear, and it poked out of her hair, glistening. As she picked up her food again, still smiling and amazed, a lunch goer slammed into her, dropping his food onto her lap. She cursed and whipped around, chunks of food splattering to the floor. "What the heck?" The girl gave him an icy stare, unable to stay calm, blue eyes turning a navy color of anger and embarrassment. Outside, the air turned cold and rain slammed against the ground. The boy hurried off and Ella sat back down, brushing food off of her and scrubbing stains furiously. The rain still raged, and as Ella calmed down it became a lower drizzle. She sighed as the rain stop and her eyes restored their color. "Sorry," the ninth grader blushed softly, staring down at her now brownish-pants. "Oh, we'll hi. I'm Ella!" Se turned her head now at the greeting.

"Hi there!" Ella said cheerfully. From the corner of her eye, she saw Mason's sparked fingers. Considering the ninth grader was inexperienced with her power, she decided to not try and show off. "I like your lightning. Yes, I'm like you. I control the weather, I'm just not good at it." Ella chuckled, "I suggest you try not to make me mad." She shook out her wavy hair, and as if to demonstrate her power, her eyes returned to their regular tone of sea blue. "Mind if I eat with you?" Her gentle, sing-song voice called as she crossed the lunchroom floor, picking up a hamburger, a salad, and then a Monster energy drink -Ella loved to eat.

Lunchtime. Ella jerked herself out of her seat as the bell rang, rushing to her locker to put books away. She nearly slammed her finger into it, cursing under her breath before hurrying off with long, effortless strides. The only thing she held in her hand was her schedule and money for lunch. The ninth grader burst into the room, realizing how early she was. Not wanting to look like the loser who sits alone, Ella flitted back through the doors again, hitting her knee on the door. She grumbled and rubbed the knee softly, the sharp jolt of pain giving way to just a reminiscent of pain. Scowling, her sea blue eyes turning a darker blue ever so slightly, Ella watched the air outside. Rain was already beginning to sprinkle down in gentle water droplets, because of her. But once her pain subsided, and she blinked carefully, the rain let up. Thankful that her uncontrolled power stopped, she leaned against the cool wall to wait for a hoard of students to bustle in. She wore tight-fitting jeans and a blue plaid, button-up shirt. Her blue-streaked blonde hair was shiny and wavy, and down so it flowed prettily over her shoulders. Ella wore no make-up, and had blue cowboy boots to top it all off, which stuck out from beneath her jeans, pointed and muddy. The girl's foot tapped the floor, anxious to talk to someone soon.
