Solarblast was following silently behind, though he was surprised to find that the boulderclan leader, Coalstar was in barnclan and yet talking to Paintedstar, though from where he was standing it just looked like they were talking about trivial things.

Paintedstar was about to say something else when he caught the scent of Desertstar on the wind, and it wasn't long after that when the lilac tabby she-cat, flanked with two of her warriors popped up in his sight. "Don't worry too much, you're not the only one to come a visit me today" the cream cameo tom meowed, but soon added a little bit more quietly, like he was speaking to himself "A third body, one for each clan." The barnclan leader stayed quiet only for a few moments before speaking up again "Coalstar and myself were speaking about the two bodies that were found on our own territories, though I am afraid that there isn't much we could say about who killed them"

Desertstar strode over the border onto BarnClan's land, stoic and proud. She was furious at the thought of her clan in danger. After all, it was her clan, and no one messed with her stuff. Sure, Desertstar sounded over protective and possessive, but it seemed to come with the job. She continued forward, occasionally scenting the air and shifting her course, heading towards the area where Paintedstar's scent was the strongest. Desertstar smiled stonily when she saw not only Paintedstar, but Coalstar as well. My, my, she thought with a dry chuckle. It seems that we are following in the path of our ancestor clans with a silly Gathering, mistake it may be. Desertstar continued with her purposeful stride, stopping only when she was a yard away from the other leader's. "Forgive us for trespassing," the lilac tabby point purred dangerously, only then acknowledging the two warriors that she assumed were flanking her. "But I was too impatient to wait for a border patrol, and I was waken early by the sounds of fighting. A dead body was left behind. I don't suppose you have any idea who the perpetrator might be?" This early in the search for the killer, Desetstar could't quite yet trust that a member of BarnClan or BoulderClan wasn't responsible for the dead loner. The leader was cranky, tired, and livid that someone might dare kill someone on her land. In Desertstar's mind, it was a declaration of war.

Coalstar narrowed her eyes towards the younger cat, more than once you could clearly see she was struggling, almost wanting to give up. But yet she seemed to have "sucked eggs" and just pushed through the annoyance, frustration and possibly even pain. She paused a few heart beats while she thought about her reply, she kept the same facial expression on as she did this. A minute or two later she heaved a heavy sigh "Today I think it best if we do your test" she meowed realising that rhymed she sighed and rolled her eyes at herself. "You must catch at least 5 decent prey, doesn't matter what sort...." she meowed "I will follow you and see how you go. You will not see me or even hear me- you may catch my scent but i will not be around where you think i am so don't even brother looking for me" she added in her normal harsh yet somewhat encouraging tone, "I will not be making your hunt easy nor will i make it too difficult, however if i see you starting to relax or slack off i will scare off your kill" she finished.

she nodded "It would be best if the killer was simply passing through and the cats killed and placed on our territories where simple 'warnings' or something to suggest there is a killer near by.. They could simply be playing a game with us to try to scare us" she agreed not really fussed with how harsh it sounded to the others but loners where mouse brained to travel alone in the first place.

"No matter on how harsh this is probably sounds, I hope that the killer was only passing through and the two cats that were killed were the only ones" meowed Paintedstar, though he still didn't know of the cat that was dumped in Tunnelclan's territory.

Soul's trial nearly over, and she was getting exhausted. She was doing fine in hunting, but fighting wasn't her strong suit. Even after awhile, it seemed that the eyes of the BoulderClan cats seemed to follow her, suspiciously watching her every move. Awkwardpaw sometimes encouraged her a bit, and Soul nearly dropped out a few times. Now that she was near the end, though, she was determined to join the Clan. She saw a familiar cat up ahead. She walked up to them.

"So, what's my next trial?" she asked. She hoped the cat wasn't in the middle of anything. She didn't want to be rude when trying to join a tough Clan.


OOC: Trying to get this up again. Anyone can be the cat, I didn't want to limit it by saying a name.

Coalstar nodded through narrow eyes, "can we agree for the safety of our clans, if there are any further deaths we will not hesitate to contact the leader of the other clan or clans to see if the deaths are connecting... We may be able to discover if it is the same killer or several killers." she suggested not wanting any clan cat to fall into the killers paws

Envy looked at her, though many mean and harsh, cruel even thoughts raced through her mind she kept her mouth shut.. Now was not the time to be judgemental of those who lack what you don't. She managed to give a soft smile to the she-cat, though she stepped back to let them carry her apparent 'brother' to where they would get rid of the body before it started to smell horrible. She watched them in silence, Countryfield seemed to be a little awkward and obviously clumsy- either way she would probably be one of the more easy to befriend... If she could become friends with Country the other clan members wouldn't take so long to warm up to her, in a matter of time she will be 'one of them' and be welcomed by everyone, that's when she can do everything she wants and it will all work out perfectly.... These clan cat's had no idea of what she was capable of; though she had no doubt Painted would have his suspicions though he also wouldn't voice them..

[[ damn it flare i had a whole amazing detailed post how she was cursing in thought at country and then you beat me to posting it and i literally had to get rid of it all ;-;      god you're a poo bum]]
